Methane and carbon dioxide emissions in cattle derived from GreenFeed Emission Monitoring systems

Measurement of methane and carbon dioxide production in Angus cattle on ad-lib feeding, measured in the field and yards. Field measurements were done on bulls and cows. Yard measurements taken on heifers is complimented with feed intake measurements. Measurements were taken using portable GreenFeed machines and feed intake measured using automatic feed recorders. Yard measurements were used to establish measurement protocols for data quality using GreenFeed machines.
