Abstract |
The effect of surface liming, deep ripping and deep ripping + lime and deep ripping + organic amendment on a Yellow Chromosol were tested in a large scale replicated demonstration. Lime had not been applied to the site in the ten years before the experiment Ryegrass pasture were grown in the three years preceding the experiment. Test crops were canola in 2016, oats in 2017 and faba beans in 2018. Field operations, crop development, crop yield, root distribution, soil chemistry (pH and nutrients). |
